The load capacity of each temporary wall depends on the type and number of fixings you use. As a guide, always match the fixing to the item you’re hanging; an 18kg framed artwork should use a 20kg hook, while a TV should be mounted using the supplied installation bracket. Each temp wall is skinned with 9mm MDF, so screw fixings are recommended for secure support.
No, our movable walls are fully assembled at our premises as complete units before delivery. To ensure the modular wall system arrives safely, we’ll confirm your delivery requirements, access options, and whether any steep ramps are on-site. The units arrive on a truck with a tailgate, allowing them to be wheeled off and rolled directly into place. Each wall sits 50mm above floor level.
Generally, no. Most clients simply butt the temp walls together or leave a small gap if needed. Because floor levels can vary over a 5m length, achieving a perfect alignment can be difficult. The levelling feet can help, but results will vary depending on your flooring. Some customers do choose to use tape with their modular wall system. We advise against using filler, as it requires sanding later and makes future adjustments more difficult.
The feet on these modular wall systems are not adjustable. However, you can easily level the panels on sloped floors using chocks, shims, or builders’ packers to give any sections of the wall the extra support they need.
